“Healthy Breakfast” Campaign: Pakban’s Investment in the Nutrition of the Future Generation
With the start of the autumn season, the “Healthy Breakfast” campaign was launched in primary schools across Alborz Province through the initiative of the Marketing Unit of Pakban Food Industries, a member of the Hotro Group. Designed for both girls and boys at the primary school level, the campaign aims to promote a culture of healthy nutrition among students. As one of Pakban’s flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, it focuses on encouraging regular breakfast consumption and familiarizing children with the nutritional benefits of dairy products during their formative years.
According to the approved plan, the “Healthy Breakfast” campaign will continue through the 2025–2026 academic year, with the possibility of extension into subsequent school years subject to the achievement of its educational and cultural objectives. The strong reception from schools, families, and students highlights the significant capacity of educational environments to institutionalize healthy eating habits at an early age.
Field experience from the program’s implementation demonstrates that combining targeted education with a joyful atmosphere and group activities can have a meaningful impact on children’s dietary behaviors. Students’ voluntary participation and their enthusiasm for sharing a complete breakfast with peers underscore the school’s pivotal role in improving daily habits and enhancing the long-term health of future generations.
A distinctive feature of the campaign is the active involvement of students in the ideation process. During the program, students shared creative ideas and suggestions regarding dairy products. Several of these proposals are currently under review by Pakban’s Research and Development unit for feasibility and potential production—an approach that reflects the company’s commitment to listening to the voice of the next generation and linking social responsibility with product innovation.
The “Healthy Breakfast” campaign exemplifies the long-term perspective of the Hotro Group and Pakban Food Industries toward corporate social responsibility—one that views health, education, and sustainable development not as costs, but as strategic investments in the future of society.
